Business Connect Magazine

A well respected publication specifically devised to help businesses to grow, network and be noticed. Each issue is a mixture of latest business news, editorial, advertorial and general advertising and it is distributed nationally with a readership of approx 45,000. The magazine has been in print for over 12 years with an online version available via their website. I design the 32pp magazine every quarter, working with the owner and founding member: Paul Mirage. I am responsible for the layout, image sourcing and look and feel of each page.

From initial concept to final print and digital version.

My responsibilities:

  • Set layout for each page based on supplied editorial or news feature

  • Source appropriate images for the features

  • Place supplied advertising and check for errors

  • Ensure it adheres to the brand guidelines

  • Ensure final files are compliant with high resolution press specifications including colour profiles

  • Approvals at press stages
